Louis is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Observational Cosmology Group in the Department of Physics Math and Astronomy at Caltech. Research is focused on determining the absolute intensity and origin of the Cosmic Infrared Background from near IR wavelengths (using Spitzer, the Diffuse Infrared Background Experiment (DIRBE) on the COsmic Background Explorer (COBE) as well as a new rocket experiment, the Cosmic Infrared Background ExpeRiment (CIBER)) and far-IR wavelengths using the Spectral and Photometric Imaging Reciever (SPIRE) on the soon to be launched Herschel Space Telescope.
